Absolute unique deer carvings because of the combination with human images. The style is very different from e.g. the Goatscrag deer carvings in Northumberland which are more of the one-line type:

The Ballochmyle deer carvings come a bit closed; they obviously have a body. But there are no signs of humans around:

The dating of these splendid carvings will be a difficult task so it good to enjoy them for what they are: a hunting scene from the deep past.... time to turn off the telly!
