My nana has no teeth and sucks eggs for England although she finds pickled onions troublsome.
As for your novel approach to research - a library.... hmmm..... that would involve getting off my chair and walking plus there's all that reaching and stretching to take books down from the shelves.
The last time I went to the pub, I came out with 200 cheap fags and a bag of mackeral.
