| Which ties in nicely with part of the book I'm reading right now: Boats and Boatmen by TC Lethbridge. He mentions the differences between people living in a fishing village and those living in a farming village just a few miles away. The point he makes is that the two are inter-dependent in a way, yet two totally different types of people that dont understand the other's way of life; their values, priorities, convictions or superstitions are all foreign. Perhaps the differences go back further than even he thought ... ******** Of course, a bunch of pissed-up Neolithic farmers could have ventured down to the cove one night for a rumble and got their heads stoved in.
