"it is overlooked by three banks". Do you mean the bits forming the horizon and the position from which the pic was taken? Cos if so, it would seem that it's been placed deliberately in a 'hidden from prying eyes' manner.
What's the score in regards proximity to water?

And what are the shapes made by the long-grass in the middle foreground?

"onethings for certain ... it ain't natural!" Agreed. The patterns of little terraces made by the sheep look like those you get when soil has been heaped up rather than laid down naturally.

Mebbe it's a burial thingy, mebbe it's a viewing platform. Mebbe it and Silbaby were separated at birth.

It looks like a proper Mystery Mound!
