True, but what I really had in mind was spring fed moated mounds (nice round moats and, it seems, a square section of moat attached, in both cases).
As I understand it, the question of whether Silbury's moat was made with the specific intention of feeding water into it has always been an open one, so to stand and stare at "another Silbury" within view of the first one, and watch water bubbling up in the middle of it's moat is a bit stunning, to say the least.
