Can any of you out there help me? This is not a TMA problem but.... I am looking for a Granite Column that was taken from the Cheesewring Quarry on Bodmin Moor in 1851 for the Great Exhibition. It is just over 9 meters high and is Iconic in style. According to Peter Staniers book "The Minions Moor" it is now standing in a field just outside Stroud.
Anybody seen it? have photos of it?
I am sure someone will have spotted it and thought it to be a standing stone.
