Hmmm, I've been caught out on this before. I tend to gauge everything on 'motorway time'. . I may have to re-think my travel times.
Trouble is, Callanish was my big 'must see' this year - but after looking into Orkney, I want to go there too. Perhaps I'll loose Aberdeenshire, and just do Orkney & Lewis, taking in Cumbria on the way up.
I'm looking at my map now . . it *is* an awful long way without motorway isn't it?
