I don't want to barge into someone else's argument, but I can't help it.
This whole thing about sciencey-type-reductionism vs phenomenological-type-experience shouldn't need to cause any friction. As long as the Science-dogma-preachers are prepared to admit that the current model is just that, a model, and the crystal-sucking-weave-your-own-yoghurt brigade are ready to admit that personal experiences are just that, personal.

if
Q:What is dowsing?, A:It's magnetic,
then
Q: what is magnetism?, A: something you can blame phenomena on.

Pthrrrrrrrrp!
