There's certainly worse places to be!

We went to Seahouses and did the Farne Island tour a couple of years ago to see the seal colony, and it was superb! Millions upon millions of sea birds. Saw loads of puffins, which I'd not seen before - they're so cute! I thought they were a lot bigger! The seals were lovely too. Bobbing around in the water... I took 3 rolls of pictures (ah - the old fashioned method!) and when I got them back, it was just rocks. Rocks rocks rocks...! I imagined "puffin in flight"; "family of guillemot on island"; "seals sunbathing" etc... Actually, the seals came out OK.

Meant to get to Bamburgh but ran out of time. Bah!

But Seahouses is such a nice place I'm sure I'll be back.
