There is one 4 mile section of the Wicklow Way (across the Wicklow Mtns - no surprise there!) where a railway sleeper boardwalk has been erected to combat the erosion caused PURELY BY WALKERS. I went up there to find a cairn and standing stone ... all I found was fog! Due to the erosion problem I'll not be going back up there to find them now :-(
