I think every car driver should be made to cycle through the centre of a large city in rush hour just to feel what it's like. I'm sorry- but you've got to be a very assertive (aggresive?) cyclist to survive city roads, not one of those prats that sits behind a parked car waiting for a nice motorist to let you out (I also drive a car BTW). I cycle at least a good metre or so out from parked cars cos I've had so many doors opened on me and have landed across a car bonnet or two in my time cos some asshole hasn't bothered to look. I also give other cyclists shit for not wearing helmets, lights and for jumping traffic lights....
