Haw haw haw! I know what you're saying, Moth. Actually, 4x4 owners already pay more road tax and often insurance simply because of the size of the brutes. Mine is actually not too ridiculous (Toyota RAV4) in size, but does what I need it to. I'd go along with the special licenses etc as long as these apply to people with off-raod motorbikes, mountain bikes etcetera too. Some of those are causing dreadful erosion on the Scottish hills, and in areas no 4x4 would get into!
I'm normally quite peacable, but certain things set me off.
Ringing little bells at me is one of them :-P
