These are not known in the south of Northumberland (much) although occasionally there are pairs of curricks and also associations of a tumulus and a menhir. There appears to be a pair of standing stones in Tunstall Golf Course, Oldham, and one of the stones has a keyhole perforation, but it's never easy to know what was there originally and whether the remaining stones were just simply too large, or too firmly embedded, to remove !
