Judging from the way they have it clamped in place, they're either worried someone's gonna nick it, or that it might make a bid for freedom, and run away.
No wonder it's the only one found in the county. I should imagine that once the other marked rocks heard what was in store for them if they were found, they promptly hid to avoid incarceration.
