I Grew up in Warminster, Wiltshire. 20 miles from Avebury, 15 from Stonehenge. Megaliths and barrows were always part of the landscape when I was growing up.
It wasn’t ‘til years later though that I realised that our neolithic and bronze age ancestors really flicked my switch.
I live in Cornwall now, with my wife and son, between coast and moor. As epic and rewarding as this ancient landscape is, my heart remains with the green fertile hills and woodlands of Wiltshire.
