28/12/17 – photo taken from the bottom of Knap Hill. Snow from previous day still on fields. Loads of people walking up to Adam’s Grave.
28/12/17 – a bright, beautiful post Xmas walk up to Knap Hill and Golden Ball Hill. a window of perfect conditions, snow, sunlight and people (and sheep) looking happy.
While visiting the ancient well at St Cleer paid a quick visit to the church. It was fairly standard inside except for one stained glass window which depicted St Petroc. In the left hand corner was a depiction circles the Hurlers and Cheesewring (photo seriously cropped so not brilliant, also the protective grill on the outside shows through the glass).
The Hurlers with a fake trilithon in the background – erected for the filming of ‘The Kid Who Would Be King’.
The fake ‘portal’ erected at the Hurlers for the filming of ‘The Kid Who Would Be King’ – to be released next and starring Patrick Stewart.
An interpretive model of the burial chamber in the Visitor’s Centre on the Great Orme headland (the light reflection in the glass a happy accident).
A section of the interpretation board at the Longstone Cove showing ‘Adam’s’ relationship to ‘Eve’.

Taken walking back from Nether Largie South Cairn – mist/fine rain.
