How far is it to walk from Pooley Bridge and where is best to park?

Where abouts are they? I have been twice and still have not been able to find them, HELP.
Where is the best place to park the car as I am very unfamilar with the site. Went about July as had nothing planned and the day was nice. Think I found some hut circles, but I do not remember any forests. Otherwise I was dissapointed. I was wondering what that huge mound was at the bottom was.
As long as weather conditions are alright next week and the place is not under three feet of snow I am planning on going to see the whole Lordenshaw site. I have read about a car park, is it far from the site itself and is North Lordenshaw far away.
