May 2004 – Windmill Hill from Knoll Down (just off the A4 to the SW). If you’re having difficulty making it out, the block of trees just under the horizon and to the left of the centre is the one on the western slope of the hill. The photo illustrates nicely how unassumingly Windmill Hill sits in its landscape.
