Burnt Downs Holed Stone

A holed stone now built into the hedge of a field, not far from the Mên-an-Tol. The stone is damaged and looks to be about 50-60% or thereabouts of the original. The hole is about the same size as many of the similar holed stones in Penwith. There’s probably more of the stone under the ground. Visited on the 8th of May 2004.

Boswarthen Holed Stone

A holed stone, now in use as a gatepost on the minor road between Little Boswarthen and Driftways, close to Sancreed Churchtown. The stone is about 1.2m high with a 8.25cms wide hole. Similar in form to that at Choone near the Merry Maidens. Visited on the 7th of August 2004.
