The barrows are in a direct line looking back to the Zennor Quoit going from NE to SW. A processional route from the quoit to the barrow would follow the path of the rising sun on the summer solstice. Excarnation and initial burial at the quoit and then later removal and burial at the barrow? Death and re birth. Who knows...

Blundered around trying to find. Eventually asked dog walking local who said he hadn’t ever seen it. Walked away and he halooed me back. It was just there. I walk past it everyday he said. This picture is looking towards the east and the rising sun. Feels like the stone is facing it and has seen the dawn countless times.

Looking towards High Tor. I told my kids that the stones were supposed to dance at midday. They insisted that we put some Rolling Stones on to encourage them.
