Small hole at rear of capstone looking inside. Guess this was broken during excavation, as i’m not sure it would have been the best way in for tomb robbers.
Close up of entrance hole. The heavy weather of recent days made the inside of the tomb a giant muddy puddle.
Noticed that the Blue Lias Limestone uprights used internally looked the same as rocks on the headland at Friars Point, Barry, which is a few miles away.
