Hengest

These steps leading to the stone were made by members of the Odinic Rite back in 1987. The OR also initiated a group called Gaurdians of the Stone who cleared away the rubbish and cut back the overgrown bushes making the stone easily accessible to all.

The White Horse Stone is a regular venue for our monthly blots. We gather to honour the Aesir and Vanir and to remember our kinfolk from ages past. When at the stone we particularly remember Hengest and Horsa and the part they played in the birth of the Engish nation.
