Closeup, looking SWish. Quite red the stones round these parts.
Looking Southwestish
Across the valley from Kettleshulme (the blob just right of centre on the top of the knoll)
Looking South Eastish. Hard to tell in the mist but I think it could be edge on to Eccles Pike.

Bronze age artefacts from Charterhouse Warren Farm now in a display case at Wells museum.
Harrod low is on the other side of those trees and would presumably have been clearly visible when this was built.
The exposed quarry face of Eldon hill is clear on the right of the photo. Perryfoot barrow is in front of the trees in front of eldon hill.
Taken from north west of the barrow in the next field...

This is a photo of a reproduction of probably the most famous motive at Pech Merle. The horse on the right’s nose is actually protruding rock.
Looking eastish – I’ll be back here in the summer methinks. In this mist its a very low reward to effort ratio.
Looking south. Right side hidden behind wall...
Looking southeastish – normally a fantastic view... not today.
Looking north – normally a fantastic view... not today.
Looking at it from the east
