Up in the hills there are interesting places

Looking towards the henge.

There is a barrow in front of houses.

The magnificent 4

Various cup marks and choke stones.

The cairn has a massive footprint.

Inside.

Don’t know why, I immediately thought of Jaws.

Above the huge cist / chamber.

The new version of the great unwashed in the car park.

The smaller chamber / cist.

Next to the cairn, no idea what it is.

From near the car park.

The now sorted standing stone.

Lined up with the wee stone circle.

Interesting blue / gray colour near the bottom of this stone.

Some of the many cup marks.

I like the wee four poster round this stone.

I like the wee stone circle.

Never noticed before, both stones almost slope at the same angle.

Looking east.

Let’s all look towards Ri Cruin.

Still looking towards Ri Cruin.

Looking over to Ri Cruin.

The road to the X is nearby.

Very Count Dracula, maybe not

I should have crawled in to give A and B a scare.

Some small kerb like stones are still in place.

The stone circle sneaks into the background.

Head north eastish to Largies and Glebes.
