Tomb and large stone with 8 strange uniform markings. Looking west 25/01/2009
Another stone where a natural granite vein seems to be orientated north/south, 3rd similar stone I’ve seen. Tomb in the background
Sunken trees. This curious effect caught my attention while driving along the M50.
Completely overgrown megalithic tomb. With (artificial??) pit containing quite aged trees in the background.
I have noticed these curious stones in 3 distant sites now, with the natural granite line always orientated north south. This is more curious as the tooled notch faces precisely west.
The Courtyard facing west exposed from under the decaying growth of summer. 17/01/2009
This is a picture of Seefin on New Years Eve 2008, with the glare of the winter sun behind the site looking south towards the most northerly point of Pollaphuca Reservoir in Wicklow. Hope the frost makes it a worthy addition.
