Folklore St. Galligan’s Cairn Round Barrow(s) Joseph Moran Apr 27, 2026 St. Galligan’s Cairn is located in Kilgalligan Cemetery near Carrowteige. Tradition was that locals tried to be buried near the saints grave, hence the headstone on the side of the cairn! -Mayo North Tourism, Ireland.
