Image of Oldendorf 2 (Passage Grave) by Nucleus

Visited May 2018

Information board text:

Chamber of four capstones in an oval hill, entrance with threshold stone in the southwestern long side. Built in the time of Funnelbeaker culture the stone grave was adapted in appearance to a burial mound by cover with sod cutting and a stone sleeve. Noteworthy are the two handle bowls from the chamber. Metallic models of such vessels are known from Southeastern Europe.
