Grave goods from the destroyed barrow, on display in the British Museum. L-R: Beaker, bone/ivory toggle, stone “wristguard”, copper dagger.
“This group of items was buried with the crouched body of an adult male. The highly finished wristguard of polished green stone with gold stud caps was deliberately broken before burial. The polished toggle or pendant was probably made from sea-mammal ivory.”
