Looking approx south-west... Note the rampart girdling the site, incorporating the central crag as if it was a ‘proto mural tower’. Very, very windy!

Good one G, seem to recognise that area, the south west area is teeming with RSCs.
Wouldn't be at all surprised.... how many Aberdeenshire sites have you seen now?
I don't have a clue and don't count. If I remember to post them I do plus I'm lucky Moray, Angus and the Highlands are very close. But a major hunt in Grassic Gibbon country is coming up plus some hunting about with Tiompan probably.
