This eighth tour coincided with some pretty hostile weather - as I'm sure Summerlands will confirm - but the winds in the main kept the hail fronts moving quickly through, giving some periods of lovely light. The main issues were constantly wiping the lens and trying to avoid camera shake, even on a tripod.
Yeah, the weather went a bit mad for a while there didn't it! I got a bit fed up of the rain hurting! We did also get some gorgeous nights with the sun coming in low under heavy cloud right into the bedroom window - so you've got to take the smooth with the rough I guess :-)
Actually your photo kind of inspired me to paint an abstract on just that theme yesterday/today, I hadn't thought about it before I saw this but it got me all fired up, so thanks :-)
Blimey. My images usually leave women glassy eyed! Guess there is still hope for human kind yet.
