Lots of good stuff my friend, do these other hills have forts as well? Wanted to do a couple of hillforts on the way back today but the rain, crikey.......................

There are other hillforts in the neighbourhood, the first hill over from Caer Caradoc has "settlements" on it, The Wrekin has a hillfort, and Bodbury ring is visible from Caer Caradoc. Castle ditches isnt far away either

I have an almost identical photo of this one only mine has a weird silver ball hanging in the distance east of the wrekin

Cheers both, various other forts/settlements are labelled in the other pics from this trip Drew. It's a beautiful part of the country, as I've been reminding myself recently.
