The central ‘redoubt’ of the site is seen right of image, with the exquisite Y Grib ridge centre. Whether this once featured a later medieval tower I’m not sure. However there are copious drystone debris within. Note the remains of the castle gatehouse centre left, occupying what I believe to be the original main hillfort entrance.
