
Looking west, towards the northern summit of Fan Nedd (with its own cairn) and Maen Llia. The cairn itself is badly ruined but would have been of a substantial size and is placed at a significant spot at the head of the valley, next to the confluence of various tributaries of the Afon Llia.

A-ha! I hadn't intended to do this walk at all, I'd actually planned a route near Resolven for the day, but the weather distracted me. As a result, I hadn't done any Coflein research at all and didn't know about that, or about the "hengiform" thing nearby. Lovely day out though.
