I tried to get on here last year, to have a look at the stone circle and cairn. Permission refused on safety grounds.
It had been possible in the past, but not any more.
That's a real shame. I note that one of the linked pages from my link has the "non-firing" dates, so I had been hopeful about that. Perhaps there's too many unexploded bits of shell about?
Managed it a few years back after first attempt had been suddenly cancelled - persevere since it's a worthwhile circle... if a bit odd with old Sexton self propelled guns lying around.
