How can I resist commenting on this photo - always a spectacular view. On a clear day the sky/landscape opens up all around. A great, almost aerial, view of West Kennet Long Barrow from there too. I've not been to Avebury for a while but will take myself out there Very Soon.
We had a nice mooch about in the mist. Good way to finish our Christmas break anyway.
