Ditto.... you might be interested to know, SC, that on a recent(ish) trip up Mynydd Pen-y-fal the Mam C noticed what she thought were Bronze Age cairns on the western ridge. Checking the map I said 'Yeah, right. Nothing doing.' Checking Coflein it appears she was right. Should've known....
Many thanks both. It wasn't too bad going, but the wind up on the fort was biting and put a stop to my delusions of including Pen Cerrig-calch itself.
I almost chose Mynydd Pen-y-Fal as my destination, but went for Crug Hywel instead. I've yet to go up there actually, mainly due to the (I thought) lack of cairns. Mam C may have changed my opinion...
