Fair play to him for contacting the authorities quickly though. Better than the Roman Helmet bloke. Still would have liked to have seen them recorded in situ in case of contextual information that might have proven useful in order to further our knowledge of our prehistory, but then at least they're going to a museum, who, admittedly, have to raise the money first so they can "have the opportunity to acquire them for preservation and display".
