Ooh - fieldnotes June? Be interested to know what you made of it (still never been myself).
Just seen this tsc, and just written a brief fieldnote. Its a spectacular landscape and walking around the Henge gives an amazing perspective to it all, well worth it but if you can do an 'out of hours' visit (I imagine) you would have a vastly different experience.
