i can't believe it, i stood on the cairn 3 months ago with our 6 month old jack russel cross, and thought i'm in wales and i'm somewhere that the postman hasn't been!!! then in my head (yes i could be a little mad) i set you a challenge to find this place(or make the place pull you there), i can't fucking believe it, or you could have literally been everywhere, i found cerrig cynnan stone circle , very nice indeed, but be warned its over the wall from where coflein shows it , the 2 ringcairns are both very different but well worth a visit.
It explains a lot, just how many times have you done this to me.
I certainly felt pulled to it, the only thing that differentiates it from all the other cairns is the monument to the forest, and you willing me there.
The only thing I know for definite is I havent been everywhere (yet) and Gladmans pics make me know it more. I'm still hoping to get down to Cerrig Cynnan this summer/autumn, glad you found it all ok.
Cerrig cynnan is about 50m and over old wall to the north east from where coflien show it, but the ringcairns are right where they say, i was just leaving thinking nothing was there any more, when i got my head yanked round (how many times does that happen) and saw a white stone sticking though the grass, its one of those places that is quite impressive when you're there but a shit photo (maybe not in winter), i think you'll like the place!!
