Thousands of years ago our Neolithic forebears were hunting for wild game with flint arrows overlooking what is now Ballymena.

Cheers Stevie!
This is very interesting Drew! Sounds like the road will still go through it anyway though - once excavation has taken place. The Great God of getting from A to B as fast as possible (and begger the cost to heritage and the environment) reigns supreme again.
Went over to Belfast after the game on Sunday for a couple of days. One of my pals mentioned that work was being held up on the bypass. But at least an excavation is taking place. So hopefully some interesting finds to look at.
