That's a very competent bit of ND grad there. It's a right tricky business to get the side flash and the sun in the same shot without a blowout bonanza.
Thanks, I've been trying to figure out how the effect of the same grad filters change on the full-frame D700 compared to my old crop D300. I imagined the larger image area means even darker tones at the top of the filter and this seems to be the case here, plus it was taken at F22 which exaggerates it also. Might need some less strong filters when the sun isn't in shot like this.
