Scorhill stands alone,
Erupting from the ground,
In need of some repair
Like an old man’s denture’s
Gnarled and broken
Scorhill, a stone circle
Of times past, a gift of history
A forlorn but not forgotten relic
That nestles amongst the landscape
That is Dartmoor.
