An old photo identified of ‘Ystymcegid Cromlech’ by Alvin Langdon Coburn. Sadly it’s undated, but was probably taken in the first half of the 20th Century.

The picture would date from the 1923-1930 period, its timing would co-incide with the period which he came to live to this part of wales(Harlech). He had developed an interest in mysticism at this same time, had been made an honorary member of the council of druids and by 1930 had given up on photography altogether.
