Plans have been submitted to build 20 x 200m tall wind turbines on Barningham Moor close to Eel Hill and Osmoril Gill.
There is a section 35 in place which bypasses local planning so this could be passed by Secretary of State! Any suggestions as to how this can be stopped? There are over 60 cup and ring stones in this area.

The rock art sites are scheduled monuments though? So you hope they'd be safe at least. (Is it those you want to protect, or are you hoping to stop the windfarm by using them... I suppose they will just build round them if they really want to build it. sadly. although I do quite like wind farms, sorry)
