Great shot of our favourite Preseli monument!
The SPACES excavations in 2002 revealed that the oval was constructed on a levelled platform cut into the hill. The site overlooking Carn Meini was well prepared and carefully selected.
There is a huge quartz boulder just down slope from Bedd Arthur towards Carn Sian. On a moonlit night it appears to shine from a considerable distance.
