Yeah, thought this was a special monument. Sometimes these sub-2,000 'outliers' really are the best locations. I mean, no other eejit would bother to climb Moelfre, therefore perfect vibe.
Yeah, it was a proper slog up here from Dyffryn Ardudwy but well worth it once I got to the top. The all round views are amazing, being set that little way apart from the main ridge gives it a great panorama. To be fair I only saw three other people on the whole walk from Dyffryn to Barmouth, two on the slopes of Y Llethr and one other as I was descending Egryn, so it was pretty quiet all round.
