Not many better placed lowland chambered cairns than this...........
Agreed, stunning views, the loch probably one of the most significant reasons for the placing of both cairns.
Yeah, wish I'd have seen the dun, too, but I went before Les started popularising all the duns on Skye... the chambered cairn basically blew me away.
I'd been a long time ago after playing at the Broadford Music Festival, however my wife is into Viking Nausts - so the canal, nausts, loch etc were are an enticement before heading to South Uist. After the previous days dreich weather it was absolutely glorious.
