Looking across the very low remains of the western cairn (the eastern cairn mentioned by pure joy is in fact the “Quoit”). All that appears to remain is a kerb, various stones of which can be seen in an arc in the foreground, and a slightly dished interior. It’s unclear if there was originally a larger mound or whether it was always in the nature of a ring or platform cairn.
