The passage lintel, now placed on the wall to the right as you enter. It's a fascinating piece with its almost sheer, flattened plane.

Lucky thanks to the White family (Eircode A42 FN40 if anyone happens by here), custodians of the key (deposit of €20) – otherwise it's even more frustrating than at your visit to Barclodiad-y-Gawres, because of the reinforced metal door. I guess the theory is is that if you're interested, you'll make the effort – the house is almost a kilometre away.
