Yeah - the Kilmartin valley has SO much going on it's far too easy to become blase and not see the stones.... for the stones. A bit like Strath of Kildonan. These are sensitively restored, quality sites.
Makes you wonder how much more rock art there is to discover in the surrounding hills. Agree about Kildonan, I just hope that when the museum/cafe is open in summer that Kilmartin doesn't become a great big bucket.
